The alarm service continuously reads all alarms from control modules, units and operator messages from the Botec system's SQL database. These are then sent to the respective configured notification services. This means you are always informed about the current status of your systems.

Cross-coupling Error Detection
In addition to the conventional alarms, the alarm service also detects cross-coupling errors between the PLCs. This error detection makes it possible to identify potential problems at an early stage and resolve them before they become critical.
Monitoring of the Alarm Service
The alarm service itself is monitored via AWS CloudWatch integration. You will receive immediate notifications by E-Mail if the alarm service is offline or experiences an outage due to internet or power outages.
IP-Monitoring
IP monitoring is used to monitor the most important network hosts such as PLCs or Botec servers. By regularly checking their availability using ping, potential failures are detected at an early stage. The alarm service automatically triggers an alarm and notifies the relevant people.

Customize the alarm service according to your individual requirements. Configure the service to work seamlessly with your operations and forward alerts to your preferred notification service to the relevant notification groups based on urgency.
